Bored? How to Turn Boredom into Mindful Productivity

If you’re feeling bored, or even just a little unsure what to do with yourself, here are some quick ideas of purposeful, mindful productive activities you can accomplish. Save this post to look at next time you feel a bit bored.

  • Look through your phone contacts to delete those you don’t need any more
  • Review the subscriptions you pay for and see if there’s any you don’t want anymore
  • Back up your phone and/or computer
  • Go through your photos on your phone to organize and upload
  • Reach out to a past customer to check in or ask for a review
  • Make a list of things that make you happy
  • Declutter a junk drawer
  • Go through your closet to donate clothes you don’t wear anymore
  • Clean your computer and TV screens (just be sure to use the right kind of cloth and cleaner!)
  • Delete apps you don’t want or need anymore
  • Make to-do lists that are divided into high energy tasks and low energy tasks
  • Clear out old food in your fridge
  • Clean your makeup brushes
  • Set a timer and do one thing you’ve been putting off
  • Plan your outfits out for a week
  • Go through your kids clothes for things they’ve outgrown
  • Unsubscribe from newsletters you don’t read anymore
  • Call someone you miss
